RoGi 2 Simulation Team

The RoGi 2 Simulation Team is a project that begins at February of 2000. The idea comes with the real robots team (RoGi Team) which participates in the robotic soccer championships. The purpose is that the simulation team becomes a test platform for the real robots techniques and strategies.

The project development was begun in the Miquel Montaner studies final project directed by Josep Lluis de la Rosa. He implemented the team that finally participates in the Stockholm Robocup’99. You can see the Miquel Montaner Project Presentation.

You can see a RoGi 2 Team Logfile playing in Stockholm during the Robocup’99.

The purpose for this year is to improve this team to participate first in the Amsterdam European Robocup and then in the Melbourne Robocup 2000. Four students (Josep Comas, Daniel Bassas, Santi Figueras and Xavier Pinsach) directed by Miquel Montaner and Josep Lluís de la Rosa are working in the next generation team.

You can access to the RoGi 2 Team description of this year or, if you want, you can download it (Postcript Format or PDF Format).

Our team is implemented in JAVA, so we can execute the source in every operating system. Now we are using Linux Redhat 6.1 but we could use Solaris.
